It's the 30th. Salary just landed. You meant to send gogo airtime so she could call — and you forgot. Again. Set it once; it goes out on the 30th, every month.
Lights out at 11pm
Token finished, kids can't study, everyone's phone is at 4%. Set ZESA for the 1st and the 15th and the meter stops surprising you.

ZESA Rate Watch
ZESA on the 1st, on purpose.
ZESA charges in steps that reset on the 1st: the first units you buy each month are the cheapest. So set the home meter's monthly token for the 1st, and let the late-month top-up be just enough to get there.
It isn't about the date on the calendar — it's about how far up the steps this meter has already climbed. Rate Watch will tell you when it's the 27th and the meter's already climbed.

What if my wallet runs low before a top-up is due?
Nothing goes out and nothing is owed. It shows as "Skipped — wallet low" on your family page, and goes out at the next scheduled time once you've topped up.
Can my brother and I both look after mum?
Yes. Each of you sets up your own schedule under your own account — a $5 from you on the 1st and a $5 from him on the 15th, for example. Every top-up keeps a receipt you can share.
What if gogo's number is on a different network than I thought?
We read the network from the number — Econet, NetOne, Telecel. If she changes numbers, edit her card and every schedule follows.
How do ZESA top-ups work? Do I need the meter number?
Yes, once, when you add the home. The token goes by SMS or email to whoever you name — you, her, or both — the moment ZESA issues it.
What if I only want to skip one month?
Tap "Skip next" on the schedule. Everything else carries on.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. You pay the airtime or token amount plus the normal card or mobile-money processing fee.
